VCap is an easy to use camera and video recorder, which gives you options to overlay maps with the direction you are facing, compass, speed, distance traveled, latitude/longitude, altitude, and clock. Included are options for metric/imperial units and standard and satellite view maps. Both portrait and landscape orientations are supported. Customize the display to suit your needs.
There are options to record your screen only or record both the screen and the microphone audio if you want to add comments as you go. Trim and save your videos to the camera roll in one simple step or export directly to email, messages, YouTube, Facebook, and more.
VCap works great as a GPS recorder, dashboard cam, and action sports recorder. Videos are lightweight in size and saved in .mp4 format at the full screen resolution of your device.

New Live Broadcasting capability. You can now live broadcast with the map and data overlay. Live broadcast to Facebook, YouTube, Periscope, Live.ly, Mobcrush, and more.
New buttons won't appear in the video or live broadcasts.
Permission to save photos will sometimes get turned off when updating your iOS version. You will now get an alert if you try to take a photo without permissions turned on.
Files sizes of videos grew larger in iOS 10. In iOS 11, they are compressed much smaller once again.

- If you are not logged-in the iOS appstore app, you'll be prompted for your your Apple ID and/or password.
- After VCap is downloaded, you'll see an INSTALL button to the right. Tap on it to start the actual installation of the iOS app.
- Once installation is finished you can tap on the OPEN button to start it. Its icon will also be added to your device home screen.
